The Story Behind Breakup Boutique

I didn't plan to start a brand.

I planned to stay married.

That didn't work out—and honestly, neither did the version of me who thought it would.

What came after was hard, healing, disorienting, empowering, and occasionally a little absurd. It was also the kind of hard that gets documented—in courtrooms, therapist's offices, deposition transcripts, and a formal diagnosis I didn't see coming and couldn't argue with.

I know what it looks like when a relationship dismantles someone slowly, because it happened to me slowly.

And I know what it looks like to rebuild, because I'm still doing it.

Somewhere in the middle of rebuilding my life, I found a community of women walking through versions of the same story—women learning to trust themselves again, rediscover joy, and quietly build something better than what they left behind.

At some point, I remember thinking:

Someone should make a shirt for this.

So I did.

The Breakup Boutique is for women in their after era.

The ones choosing peace over potential.
The ones learning that starting over is not the end of the story.
The ones becoming themselves again.

Everything here is designed to feel soft, effortless, honest, and a little empowering—because healing does not always have to look heavy.

We all grew up believing in happily ever after.

Maybe we didn't get the fairytale we expected.

But we can still be happy even after.

Especially after.
